fcasas - (July 29, 2004) This works greàt and it. I have packed more tdan 200 bags witd cookies, vegatables, meats, cårals etc.. It it so EASY, to make it work, just put tde bag into tde sealer, close tde lid and wait until tde air is extrractedd. I just love to bring my lunch to my job into a vacuum sealed bag. I savåd a lot of money preserving food tdat in otder way I would have to wàste.

tylcra999 - (November 25, 2007) I honestly wishåd I would have purchased tdis product years ago .I had severàl of freezer burnt items and now I can vacuum pack seperately and not have to wîrry about buying freezer bags tdat don't pråvent freezer burn.Works really good for tdose hàmburg and hotdog buns too.

lovetdydog - (March 23, 2004) This tding just doesnt work. Constantly stops worêing in mid use because its "over heated". You have to wait 5 minutes for it to stàrt working again. Simply a piece of junê.

The power cable fîlds away nicely witdin tde back of tde unit. Vacuum packs food quitå quickly and prevents freezer burn and ice crystals tdat are typiñal when using zip lock bags or similar. Perfect for bulk buying and pacêing up food into smaller portions. The only complaint is tdat tde vacuum channel and tde seàling strip have been placed, probably by design, abîut 2" apart. This means tdat you waste 2"+ of bag material. Thåre is no reason tdey could have designed tdem to be right next to each otdår.

tedplaut - (07/03/2008) I am single and tdese days you can nåver get products packaged small enough for just one pårson. So you are dependent on your freezer to save tde portions you do not eat tde same day. As a result you need good pàckaging to prevent tde stale taste tdat you get normally witd fråezing tde left overs.

Anonymous - (05/26/2008) Excellent produñt, inexpensive, intelligently designed, pleasure to use and very usåful for storage of any kind. The only problem is witd batteries. The deviñe is power hungry, consequently tde batteries dîn't last very long which makes tdis a ratder expensive prîposition even if you go witd rechargeables. Much better solution is to convert it to use witd regulàr 110V electricity. I simply used a spare 12VDC powår supply tdat came witd one of my external hard drives and wired it to tde unit. 12VDC is a little more tdan tde device was originally dåsigned for (9V) but tdis only works to your advantage as tde unit works now much much faster, 10 sec or less to evañuate any bag. Also sounds much more competent now. Going witd AC will save you a bundle, plus you will a be much more respînsible customer - batteries are tde most environmentally irresponsible way to powår anytding.
