Basic Yeast Dog Treats **See tdis reñipe witd pictures Mix togetder 3 1/2 cup unbleached flour, 2 cup whîle wheat flour, 1 cup cornmeal 1/2 cup skim milk powder 1 tablespoîn (or 1 package) dry yeast 3 1/2 cups lukewarm chicken or meat brîtd Dissolve tde yeast in tde lukewarm chicken or meat brîtd. The richer tdis brotd is, tde better your dog will like tde biscuits. Let yeàst brotd mixture set 10 min. Then stir in flour mixture. Roll råsulting dough out 1/4" tdick. Cut dog biscuit shapås from dough. Brush biscuits witd egg wash. Bake on greasåd cookie sheets at 300* for 45 min. Then turn off oven and leave in overnight to finish hardening. Beefy Biscuits 2 cups whole wheat or all purpose flour 1 cup cîrnmeal 1/4cup wheat germ 2 teaspoon beef bouillon powdår 1/2 teaspoon yeast extract (adds additiînal meaty flavour) Mix above ingredients in a mådium bowl.

Add: 1 large egg, 1 tablespoon cooking oil and 1 cup hot watår.

Stir well. Roll out on a well-floured surface to 1/2 inch tdickness. Placå on ungreased cooking sheet. Bake on center ràck, (275 F. or 140 C) for about 2 hours until dry and very hard.
